Where to buy the NEFF VNA341U8GB washer-dryer
🏆 Review & price summary
The NEFF VNA341U8GB washer dryer offers a strong everyday specification, combining an 8kg wash capacity, 5kg drying capacity, 1400rpm spin speed and AutoDry sensor drying. Its reload function, 24-hour delay, SpeedPerfect and Rapid 15 / Wash & Dry options add useful flexibility for busy households. The main trade-offs are the lower 5kg drying capacity, E-rated complete cycle and long full wash-and-dry programme.
✓ Key strengths
- ✓ 8kg washing capacity suits regular household loads
- ✓ 5kg wash-and-dry capacity is practical for smaller complete cycles
- ✓ AutoDry sensor drying with Gentle Dry, Intensive Dry and My Time Dry options
- ✓ 1400rpm maximum spin speed and B-rated spin efficiency
- ✓ Reload, 24-hour delay start and large LED display improve everyday convenience
- ✓ Rapid 15 / Wash & Dry and SpeedPerfect provide useful time-saving options
Worth considering
- The complete wash-and-dry cycle is E-rated, while washing alone is C-rated, so it is less efficient than higher-rated combined appliances
- The full Eco 40-60 wash-and-dry programme takes 7 hours 30 minutes
- The 5kg drying limit is considerably lower than the 8kg wash capacity, meaning a full wash load may need to be split before drying
- There is no Home Connect app control, so remote monitoring and programme control are unavailable

Capacity and everyday laundry
The NEFF VNA341U8GB washer dryer combines an 8kg washing capacity with a 5kg capacity for complete wash-and-dry cycles. That is a useful balance for regular household laundry, although a full 8kg wash load cannot be dried in one go.
Its 1400rpm maximum spin speed should remove a good amount of water before drying, while the B-rated spin efficiency gives it a solid specification for a combined appliance.
Washing and drying performance
AutoDry sensor drying is the key convenience feature, with drying settings designed to help control the final dryness level. Intensive Dry, Gentle Dry and My Time Dry provide more flexibility for cottons, synthetics and timed drying.
The programme range covers everyday cottons, Eco 40-60, easy-care fabrics, mixed loads, delicates, wool and refresh cycles. Rapid 15 and Wash & Dry 60 offer useful options for smaller, lightly soiled loads, while SpeedPerfect can shorten suitable washing programmes by up to 65%.
Controls and convenience
A large LED display, rotary control and touch controls make the appliance straightforward to operate. Reload allows suitable forgotten items to be added during a cycle, and the delay-start function can schedule a programme up to 24 hours ahead.
Anti-vibration design, an Efficient Silent Drive motor, child protection and AquaSecure water protection add practical everyday reassurance. The machine does not include Home Connect, so it cannot be monitored or controlled remotely through an app.
Efficiency, noise and installation
The complete wash-and-dry cycle carries an E energy-efficiency rating, while washing alone is rated C. The full Eco 40-60 wash-and-dry programme is listed at 7 hours 30 minutes, so this appliance prioritises the convenience of combining two functions over fast, low-energy drying.
The rated noise emission is 70dB with an A noise-emission class. That is respectable for a washer dryer, although the sound may still be noticeable during high-speed spinning, particularly in an open-plan room. Its freestanding dimensions are approximately 848mm high, 598mm wide and 590mm deep, increasing to 635mm with the door closed.
Verdict
The NEFF VNA341U8GB washer dryer is a capable, well-equipped choice for households that need washing and drying in one freestanding machine. Its strongest points are the 8kg wash capacity, sensor drying, reload function, quick programmes and useful fabric-care options.
The main compromises are the 5kg drying limit, E-rated combined cycle and lengthy full wash-and-dry programme. It is best suited to buyers who value convenience and programme flexibility more than the fastest or most energy-efficient drying.
