The retailer’s supplied information lists 16 programmes, while Hisense's official specification lists 19; the manufacturer's figure is used.
Capacity and everyday washing
The Hisense WD3S1043BB3 washer dryer offers a 10.5kg wash capacity, making it well suited to larger laundry loads. Its 1400rpm spin speed, water-level sensor and reversible drum action are practical features for regular household use.
Hisense lists 19 programmes, including Cotton, Synthetics, Wool, Quick 15, Eco 40–60°C, Steam Refresh, Bedding, ExtraHygiene, Drum Clean and several drying programmes. The Pause & Add function also allows forgotten items to be added when the water level and temperature are safe.
Drying and efficiency
The 6kg drying capacity is useful for combined wash-and-dry cycles, but it is lower than the 10.5kg washing capacity. A full wash load may therefore need to be split before drying.
The washer dryer has an A washing energy-efficiency rating and a D drying energy-efficiency rating. Hisense quotes 307kWh per 100 wash-and-dry cycles, 89 litres of water per complete cycle and a 479-minute full wash-and-dry programme time, so drying efficiency and cycle length are important considerations.
Smart features and controls
Integrated Wi-Fi and ConnectLife support allow remote control and energy monitoring through the app. The machine also includes Smart Assist, which selects a wash combination based on fabric type, colour and soil level.
A large LED display, digital countdown indicator, Delay End, Steam Mix, self-diagnostics and a lockable control panel add useful convenience features. The Lint Auto Clean system is designed to rinse lint away from the drying tunnel during the rinse stage.
Installation and ownership
This is a freestanding condenser washer dryer measuring 595mm wide, 845mm high and 590mm deep. Its 70kg net weight and 220–240V electrical specification should be considered during delivery and installation planning.
The 72dB spin noise level is classed as A by the manufacturer but is not especially quiet compared with the quietest washer dryers. Overflow protection is provided, although Hisense does not list an Aqua Protect system for this model.
Research note: this BestBuysUK assessment is based on the manufacturer's published specifications and other reputable technical sources. Specifications and retailer availability can change, so verify critical details before purchase.
