Extraction and noise performance
The Novy 7853 Vision has a stated Qboost airflow of up to 788m³/h, giving it the headline performance needed for removing steam and cooking odours. The available information does not provide separate airflow figures for other settings, so the Qboost figure should be treated as the maximum stated output rather than typical everyday performance.
Noise is specified from 35dB to 62dB, with integrated sound absorption supporting quieter operation. That range suggests the hood may be relatively unobtrusive at lower settings while becoming more audible when maximum extraction is selected.
Design, lighting and installation
Its 75cm angled design combines black steel with black glass for a clean, contemporary look. The angled form can help preserve sightlines across the cooking area while giving the hood a prominent visual role in the kitchen.
A warm 2700K LED strip provides hob illumination and adds a softer appearance than cooler lighting. Installation can be configured for duct-out or recirculation use, with top or rear exhaust positioning offering useful flexibility for different kitchen layouts.
Who it suits
This model is best suited to contemporary kitchens that can accommodate a 75cm wall-mounted hood and benefit from strong stated extraction. It is particularly appealing where design, warm lighting and flexible exhaust routing matter alongside ventilation performance.
Before purchase, the kitchen layout and installation plan should be checked against the hood’s wall position, outlet options and chosen duct-out or recirculation arrangement.
