Cooking performance and layout
The Novy 1757 uses three induction zones across a wide 80cm surface, leaving useful room for a left-to-right pan arrangement. Its Power function can provide up to 3000W for faster heating, which is particularly useful when bringing larger amounts of water to the boil.
The three-zone layout will suit users who value generous pan spacing, although households regularly cooking with more than three pans may need a larger-zone alternative.
Controls and everyday features
A central red slider touch control provides direct adjustment of cooking levels and functions. Stop&Go temporarily interrupts the energy supply and restores the previous cooking levels and timer settings when resumed.
The 70°C keep-warm function is useful for holding food at a steady temperature, while per-zone timers and the child lock add practical control for everyday cooking.
Installation and connected features
The hob can be surface-mounted or flush-mounted, giving kitchen designers and renovators more flexibility over the finished worktop appearance.
Novy InTouch allows control of a compatible Novy cooker hood directly from the hob. This is a useful integration feature, but its value depends on having a compatible hood.
