Cooking surface and control flexibility
The 120cm width provides substantially more room than a standard hob, making it easier to use several pans without crowding. The combination of two octagonal zones and two circular zones gives the layout a mixture of flexibility and defined cooking areas.
Bridge control links adjoining zones for larger cookware, while the grill function creates a larger area with adapted power distribution for cast-iron cookware. The Chef function further automates the arrangement of linked zones, with preset levels for intensive cooking, simmering and keeping food warm.
Power, keep-warm, melting and Stop&Go functions add practical control. Stop&Go temporarily disables the energy supply while retaining the selected levels and timers for reuse.
Integrated extraction
The semi-transparent extraction tower is designed to disappear into the hob when not in use, keeping the cooking area visually clean. It rises to stated heights of 10cm, 20cm or 30cm, allowing the extraction position to be adjusted at the source of cooking vapour.
The stated maximum extraction rate is 1051m³/h with Qboost, while the maximum noise level is listed as 71dB. The appliance is described as using direct extraction with an outlet to the outside, so the kitchen layout and installation plan need to support that arrangement.
Who it suits
This is an ambitious choice for a large kitchen, particularly where a wide cooking area and integrated ventilation are higher priorities than compact dimensions. It should appeal to enthusiastic cooks who use large pans, griddles or cast-iron cookware.
Its size, external extraction arrangement and specialist features make it more appropriate for a planned kitchen installation than a straightforward replacement for a conventional hob.
