Where to buy the Bosch DWK67PN61B cooker hood
🏆 Review & price summary
The Bosch DWK67PN61B cooker hood combines a strong 431 m³/h standard extraction rate with a 768 m³/h intensive boost, while its inclined black-glass design provides generous headroom. Home Connect, hob-based control, adjustable LED lighting and dishwasher-suitable grease filters give it a comprehensive feature set. It is best suited to buyers who want a smart, efficient wall-mounted hood and are comfortable with the extra noise and accessory requirements associated with boost and recirculating use.
✓ Key strengths
- ✓ Strong 431 m³/h standard extraction and 768 m³/h intensive boost in ducted mode
- ✓ A+ energy-efficiency rating with efficient LED lighting
- ✓ Home Connect app control, hob-based hood control and Smart Hood Automatic compatibility
- ✓ Adjustable LED brightness and colour temperature with 502 lux of illumination
- ✓ Flexible ducted or recirculating installation
- ✓ Two washable aluminium grease filters suitable for dishwasher cleaning
Worth considering
- The compatible odour-filter kit for recirculating installation is available separately rather than being part of the core hood specification
- Boost operation is substantially louder than normal extraction, reaching 68 dB(A) in ducted mode and 75 dB(A) in recirculating mode
- The hood has a C grease-filtering efficiency class, below its A-rated fluid-dynamic and lighting efficiency classes
- There is no PerfectAir sensor, so automatic extraction relies on a compatible connected hob and Home Connect rather than air-quality sensing by the hood itself

Extraction performance and noise
The Bosch DWK67PN61B cooker hood offers 431 m³/h of maximum standard extraction in ducted mode, rising to 768 m³/h with intensive boost. Three standard fan speeds plus the intensive setting provide useful control for everyday cooking and stronger bursts of steam or odours.
Standard maximum extraction is rated at 56 dB(A), although boost rises to 68 dB(A) in ducted use. Recirculating operation is noisier, reaching 63 dB(A) at maximum standard speed and 75 dB(A) on boost.
Smart controls and lighting
Home Connect adds app-based control, remote monitoring, saved preferences and maintenance information. The Bosch DWK67PN61B cooker hood also supports cooktop-based hood control and Smart Hood Automatic when paired with a compatible hob and Home Connect account.
Two integrated LED lights provide 502 lux of illumination. Brightness and colour temperature can be adjusted through the Home Connect app, while the 3,500 K lighting is designed to provide a neutral cooking-area light.
Installation and filtration
This is a 60cm wall-mounted chimney hood with a convertible design, so it can either vent cooking air outside or filter and return it to the room. The duct outlet is 150mm, and Bosch specifies minimum clearances of 450mm above an electric hob and 650mm above a gas hob.
Recirculating installation requires a separately available compatible odour-filter kit. The hood has two washable aluminium grease filters that are suitable for cleaning in a dishwasher.
Cleaning and everyday use
The inclined black glass design provides additional headroom and a clearer view of the hob than a conventional horizontal canopy. The smooth glass surface and safe-touch construction are intended to make routine wiping straightforward.
The dual-filter arrangement gives the hood two grease-capture areas, while the Home Connect filter-saturation indicator can help monitor when maintenance is needed.
Efficiency and limitations
The Bosch DWK67PN61B cooker hood carries an A+ energy-efficiency rating, placing it in the top efficiency band for this appliance category. Its LED lighting and efficient motor help keep routine energy use controlled.
The main trade-off is that recirculating installation needs an additional filter kit, and boost operation becomes substantially louder than normal extraction. The hood also does not include Bosch's PerfectAir sensor, so automatic operation depends on a compatible connected hob rather than air-quality sensing by the hood itself.
