Bosch's specification lists no clean-filter reminder, so the retailer’s supplied information's claim of app-based filter-saturation notifications has not been relied upon.
Strong extraction with useful flexibility
The Bosch DWB67DN60B cooker hood offers 399 m³/h maximum extraction and a 699 m³/h intensive boost, giving it plenty of headroom for steam and strong cooking odours. It can operate in either ducted extraction or recirculation mode, although recirculation requires separately available accessories.
There are three standard fan speeds plus an intensive setting. Normal maximum extraction is rated at 56 dB, while intensive extraction reaches 68 dB, so the hood is relatively restrained at ordinary settings but is clearly audible when working hardest.
Smart controls are a genuine strength
Touch controls cover the everyday functions, while Home Connect adds app-based monitoring and control, hob-based hood control and Smart Hood Automatic. The automatic function adjusts the fan setting using data from a compatible connected hob rather than relying on a built-in air-quality sensor.
The Bosch DWB67DN60B cooker hood also supports delay shut-off, interval ventilation, performance profiles and voice control through compatible services. These features are useful additions, but several depend on a compatible hob, internet connection, Home Connect account and suitable software support.
Good lighting and straightforward maintenance
Two LED lights provide 501 lux, with a neutral 3,500K colour temperature, softlight functionality and colour-temperature adjustment through the app. This gives the cooking area more flexibility than fixed, single-temperature lighting.
The washable stainless-steel grease filters can be removed for cleaning, including dishwasher cleaning according to the manual. Bosch's product specification lists no clean-filter reminder, so maintenance still depends on the owner keeping track of filter cleaning.
Efficient, but recirculation adds an ownership consideration
The Bosch DWB67DN60B cooker hood carries an A++ energy label and has stated annual energy consumption of 24.5 kWh, making efficiency one of its strongest attributes. Its 105W motor and low standby consumption also support economical day-to-day operation.
The main limitation is recirculation equipment: the specification states that an odour filter is not included, and the required recirculation kit is an additional accessory. Buyers intending to recirculate should account for that installation requirement before choosing this model.
