Cooking control and layout
The five-burner arrangement gives this 90cm hob a spacious working area for preparing several dishes at once. A left-side wok burner adds flexibility for high-heat cooking, while the remaining gas burners support everyday pans. StepPower divides the gas output into nine defined levels, helping make settings more repeatable than freely adjusting a conventional dial.
Visibility and safety
FlameLight LEDs provide a clear visual indication of the selected flame level from 1 to 9. The system also indicates whether a burner is on or off and whether the pan supports remain hot, which can make post-cooking checks easier. Thermocouple safety is included, and the Minute Minder helps monitor cooking time.
Design and connected features
The matt black tempered-glass finish gives the hob a contemporary appearance and is described as easy to clean. Cast-iron pan supports provide a sturdy base for cookware. Hob2Hood can wirelessly activate and adjust a compatible cooker hood, adding convenience where the surrounding extraction system supports the feature.
