Cooking control and visibility
The AEG HKB64341NL hob is designed to make gas cooking more predictable. StepPower offers nine defined heat settings, allowing users to select and repeat a preferred flame level rather than relying solely on visual estimation.
FlameLight LEDs add useful at-a-glance information by showing the selected power level from 1 to 9, whether a burner is switched on and whether the pan supports remain hot after use.
Design and everyday practicality
Its 60cm format provides four gas cooking zones in a familiar size for many fitted kitchens. The matt black tempered-glass surface gives it a contemporary appearance and is described as resistant to fingerprints and easy to clean.
Cast-iron pan supports provide a sturdy base for cookware. The integrated minute minder is helpful for keeping track of cooking times without needing a separate timer.
Connected kitchen features
Hob2Hood compatibility is the main connected feature. With a compatible cooker hood, the hob can wirelessly activate extraction and adjust fan functions according to cooking activity.
This feature is most valuable when paired with a matching compatible hood. Without that pairing, the hob remains fully focused on its core gas-cooking controls and indicators.
