Cooking performance and control
Five gas cooking zones give the hob practical capacity for everyday meals involving multiple pans. The dedicated 4kW multi-crown wok burner is the standout performance feature, providing intense direct heat for stir-fries, searing and other high-temperature cooking.
StepPower divides the flame into nine defined levels. This should make heat settings more consistent and repeatable than relying solely on visual flame adjustment, while the Speed Burners are designed to direct heat towards the base of the cookware.
Design and everyday usability
The 75cm stainless-steel layout provides a broad working area, and rotary controls keep operation straightforward. Integrated ignition means the burners can be lit directly from the control knobs without a separate lighter.
Continuous cast-iron pan supports provide a stable platform for cookware and make it easier to move pans between burners. Silicone feet are also specified to help improve stability.
Safety and suitability
Thermocouple flame-failure protection is an important safety feature: the gas supply is designed to shut off if a flame goes out. This adds reassurance during normal use, although installation and connection should be handled appropriately for a gas appliance.
Overall, the hob is best suited to households wanting the responsiveness of gas, room for five pans and a strong wok-burner option. Its wider format should be checked against the available worktop space before purchase.
