The available product information gives two different maximum power descriptions for the Ultra Rapid burner. The exact rating should be confirmed before purchase.
Cooking performance and flexibility
Five gas burners give this hob useful capacity for larger pans and multi-dish cooking. The supplied information highlights an Ultra Rapid burner designed for faster, more powerful heating, although it gives differing maximum power descriptions, so the precise burner rating should be confirmed before purchase.
Gas burners offer direct control over heat, while the five-zone layout is particularly practical for households that regularly cook with several pans at once.
Design, controls and everyday practicality
The Victoria styling gives the black hob a distinctive retro appearance, making it more noticeable than a purely functional built-in appliance. Rotary dials provide a conventional control method that is easy to understand.
Heavy-duty cast-iron pan supports are designed to resist high temperatures and provide a sturdy base for cookware. They are removable for cleaning, although their weight and separate sections may require more care than a flat ceramic or induction surface.
Safety and installation considerations
Gas safety valves are designed to stop the gas supply if a flame is accidentally extinguished, adding an important layer of protection during use. The hob is also described as adaptable for LPG with the supplied kit.
As a gas appliance, installation should be planned around the home’s gas supply and suitable ventilation requirements. The available product information does not provide installation dimensions or electrical details, so these should be checked before fitting.
