Flexible mixed-fuel cooking
The defining feature is the combination of two gas burners and two induction zones. This lets you switch between familiar flame-based cooking and the rapid, precise control associated with induction without using two separate appliances.
The two right-hand induction zones can operate independently or combine through MultiZone. That makes the hob more accommodating when using a large pan, griddle or other cookware that would not sit neatly on a conventional single zone.
Controls, safety and installation
Induction cooking is managed through a slider with nine power levels, booster capability, rapid level selection and practical functions including pause, keep warm, bridge and a timer. The gas side uses front-mounted rotary controls, while automatic ignition simplifies burner use.
Safety provision is extensive for a mixed-fuel appliance, with gas safety valves, automatic switch-off, residual heat indication, control locking and overflow protection. The 650mm-wide unit has a low-profile 45mm body, although installation must allow for the specified cut-out, natural-gas connection and electrical requirements.
