Extraction and noise performance
The Novy 7850 Vision is designed for kitchens that need substantial vapour removal, with Qboost extraction stated at up to 788m³/h. That makes it a strong on-paper option for frequent cooking and larger cooking areas, although actual results will depend on installation and ducting.
Its stated minimum operating noise of 35dB, together with integrated sound absorber technology, should appeal to anyone who wants effective extraction without an unnecessarily intrusive background sound.
Design, lighting and controls
The angled combination of black glass and stainless steel gives the hood a contemporary appearance while creating a broad 75cm presence above the cooking area. Touch controls keep the front design visually clean.
A warm 2700K LED strip provides practical hob illumination and a softer kitchen ambience than cooler lighting. Optional InTouch control can add hob-linked convenience when paired with compatible Novy hobs.
Installation considerations
The hood supports either a top or rear outlet, giving installers more flexibility when planning the duct route. The supplied information also states that it can be installed without a chimney when the rear outlet is used.
Before choosing it, check that the wall, available width and proposed ducting route suit a 75cm wall-mounted appliance. Compatibility for any hob-linked control should also be confirmed for the intended hob.
