Flexible cooking layout
The four-zone layout is designed for a mixture of everyday and larger cookware. Two 240 x 200mm zones sit on the left, while two 210mm circular zones provide more conventional spaces on the right.
The Bridge Function links adjoining zones for larger pans, and the automatic Flexzone is intended to make cookware positioning more flexible. This should be particularly useful for griddles and elongated cookware.
Controls and cooking functions
Central slider touch controls, individual zone timers and a red display provide a focused control layout. Each zone includes a Power Function, with outputs of up to 3000W on the left and 2100W on the right.
Stop&Go temporarily disables the energy supply and restores the previous power levels and timers when resumed. The three keep-warm settings add useful control for melting and holding food at different temperatures.
Installation and connected features
The hob supports either surface or flush installation, giving kitchen designers more than one way to integrate its black glass finish.
InTouch provides control of a compatible Novy cooker hood directly from the hob. This is a useful convenience feature, although it depends on having a compatible Novy hood.
Research note: this BestBuysUK assessment is based on the manufacturer's published specifications and other reputable technical sources. Specifications and retailer availability can change, so verify critical details before purchase.
