Integrated under-counter design
The NEFF KU2222FD0G fridge is designed for full integration beneath a worktop, with an 820mm height, 598mm appliance width and a required 820 x 600 x 550mm installation niche. Its flat hinge and reversible right-hand door give kitchen fitters useful flexibility when planning the door opening.
This is a built-under appliance rather than a freestanding model, so it is best suited to a planned kitchen installation with a compatible furniture door. The manufacturer does not list door-panel options as part of the appliance itself.
Storage and freezer provision
The NEFF KU2222FD0G fridge combines 93 litres of fresh-food storage with a 17-litre four-star freezer compartment, giving 110 litres of total net capacity. The icebox is suitable for keeping frozen food at temperatures down to -18°C and has a stated nine-hour storage period during a power failure.
Inside, there are two fridge shelves, one of them adjustable, plus two refrigerator door bins. The compact layout is practical for everyday essentials, while Fresh Safe storage provides a dedicated area for food that benefits from controlled freshness conditions.
Cooling and everyday convenience
Cool Air Flow is intended to distribute air evenly through the fridge, while Super Cooling temporarily lowers the temperature for newly added groceries or drinks before returning to normal operation. The four-star freezer compartment adds useful frozen-food storage without requiring a separate freezer appliance.
LED lighting with soft start illuminates the interior, and the open-door warning helps prevent the appliance being left running with the door ajar. A single ice cube tray is included.
Noise, efficiency and limitations
At 35dB(A), with a B noise-emission class, the NEFF KU2222FD0G fridge should be unobtrusive in an open-plan kitchen or utility area. Its D energy rating and stated annual consumption of 119kWh provide a clear efficiency reference for comparison with newer A-to-C-rated alternatives.
The main compromises are the modest total capacity, the small freezer section and the absence of a Total No Frost system. This is a focused under-counter appliance for compact storage rather than a high-capacity family refrigerator.
