Cleaning performance and capacity
With space for 14 place settings, the Miele G 5611 SC Active dishwasher is aimed at substantial household loads rather than compact kitchens. Its five programmes include QuickPowerWash, which is stated to clean normally soiled crockery in 58 minutes, making it useful when a full load needs turning around promptly.
Drying and everyday usability
AutoOpen drying opens the door at the end of the programme so fresh air can circulate through the load. ComfortClose is designed to open and close smoothly and hold the door in position, while the flexible ComfortBasket system is intended to make plates, glasses and cookware easier to arrange.
Efficiency and noise
The dishwasher is rated A and includes EcoPower features. The supplied information states water consumption of 8.9 litres per cycle, with as little as 6 litres on the most efficient programme. A stated 45dB noise level should make it a relatively unobtrusive choice for open-plan kitchens. A hot-water connection is also supported and is claimed to reduce electricity consumption and programme times in suitable installations.
What to check before buying
The available product information confirms the core capacity, operating noise, programme count and main convenience features, but does not provide dimensions or installation clearances. Check that the freestanding format, plumbing arrangement and available space suit your kitchen before ordering.
