Extraction and ventilation flexibility
The Kaiser AI 7418 Eco is built around high-capacity extraction, with a stated maximum of 1250 m³/h when connected to external ducting. That makes it particularly suited to kitchens where strong removal of cooking fumes, steam and odours is a priority.
It can also operate in internal recirculation mode, with a stated maximum rate of 1000 m³/h. In this arrangement, the metal grease filter is combined with activated charcoal filtration before air is returned to the room. External extraction should deliver the strongest ventilation performance, while recirculation provides a practical alternative where ducting outside is not possible.
Controls, lighting and filtration
Three fan speeds allow the extraction level to be adjusted for different cooking tasks. The supplied remote control operates the fan and the lighting, while four 3 W LED lamps illuminate the hob area.
The perimeter suction design draws fumes through slots around the concealed filter panel. The metal grease filter can be washed manually or placed in a dishwasher, with cleaning recommended every two months during normal use. Activated charcoal filtration is intended for odour absorption when the hood is used in recirculation mode.
Design and installation considerations
This is a statement island hood rather than a compact, unobtrusive appliance. Its 70cm width, anthracite black glass and high-grade steel construction are designed to complement a modern island-hob layout.
The supplied 150mm aluminium corrugated pipe and 120mm adaptor provide useful ducting flexibility, but the available product information does not specify the complete installation dimensions or clearance requirements. Those details should be checked before fitting.
