Extraction and installation
The Elica Juno RC cooker hood is designed for recirculating use, so it filters cooking air and returns it to the room rather than exhausting it outdoors. That makes it practical for island kitchens where ductwork cannot easily be installed.
Its stated maximum airflow of 620m³/h is encouraging for a compact hood, and three speed settings allow the extraction level to be adjusted to the cooking task. The supplied information does not indicate a separate ducted configuration for this exact product, so buyers should plan around recirculating installation.
Controls, lighting and filtration
Operation is deliberately simple, with push-button controls and three speeds. The LED lighting uses two 2.5W lamps with a 3500K colour temperature, providing dedicated illumination over the hob area.
Filtration includes a removable aluminium grease filter and a regenerable charcoal filter. These features should make routine cleaning and odour-filter maintenance more manageable, although the charcoal filter will still require appropriate care to retain effective recirculating performance.
Noise, efficiency and everyday suitability
The stated noise range is 45–67dB(A), so the hood should be less intrusive on its lower setting but more audible when maximum extraction is selected. This is worth considering in open-plan kitchens or when entertaining.
Energy class A and total power absorption of 205W are positive indicators for regular use. Overall, the Elica Juno RC cooker hood is a focused option for buyers who value compact island styling, simple operation and strong stated airflow over ducted extraction or smart controls.
