Extraction and kitchen comfort
The Bloom S Lux is specified with a maximum airflow of 700m³/h, three extraction speeds and an intensive setting, giving it the capacity to tackle demanding cooking fumes and odours. Its concealed Moving Visor flap opens by hand to increase the capture surface when required.
Comfort Silence technology is stated to keep operating noise between 45 and 58dB(A). That should make the hood a more suitable choice for open-plan or sociable kitchens, although the exact noise level will depend on the selected setting and installation.
Design, controls and maintenance
The 85cm angled design is centred on a Dekton stoneware front, supported by a titanium-effect aluminium strip. The extraction area remains concealed when closed, creating a streamlined appearance that should suit contemporary kitchens.
Touch controls provide direct operation, while the 7W LED light strip illuminates the hob area. Removable washable grease and odour filters reduce routine cleaning effort, and the filter saturation warning light helps indicate when maintenance is due.
Efficiency and suitability
An A++ energy efficiency rating and brushless extraction are notable features for a premium cooker hood. Back Aspiration is also specified as part of the extraction system.
This is best viewed as a design-led, full-width cooker hood for modern kitchens where strong extraction, quieter operation and distinctive materials are priorities. Installation requirements and ducting compatibility are not detailed in the available product information, so these should be confirmed before purchase.
Research note: this BestBuysUK assessment is based on the manufacturer's published specifications and other reputable technical sources. Specifications and retailer availability can change, so verify critical details before purchase.
