Cooking versatility
This oven is designed to cover more than standard convection-style cooking. It combines traditional oven functions with low, medium and maximum steam settings, while the TotalSteam function uses pure vapour for steam cooking. A grill function is also listed, adding flexibility for browning and finishing dishes.
Seven functions and 15 automatic cooking programmes give users a choice between manual control and guided cooking. The available information does not specify the individual functions or programme names, so these should be checked before purchase if a particular cooking mode is essential.
Capacity and controls
The 31-litre stainless steel cavity is a practical size for a compact built-in oven, while two oven levels offer some flexibility when positioning cookware. Its 60 x 45cm format may suit kitchens where a full-height oven is not required.
Full-touch controls and a TFT display provide a modern interface, and the removable water tank should make steam cooking maintenance and refilling more convenient. The soft-opening and soft-closing door design is another useful touch for everyday handling.
Who it suits
This Bertazzoni F457HERVTAX is best suited to buyers prioritising cooking versatility in a compact built-in appliance. Its steam options will appeal to those interested in moisture-controlled cooking, while the automatic programmes may help simplify frequently prepared dishes.
The available product information confirms an A energy rating, but it does not provide detailed energy-consumption figures. Buyers comparing running costs should therefore consider the full energy data supplied for the specific installation and usage pattern.
