Cooking performance and layout
The five-zone layout gives the Barazza 1PUN75 plenty of flexibility for multi-pan cooking. Its 3.8kW triple-crown burner is the standout feature, offering concentrated high heat for tasks such as boiling and searing, while the 1kW auxiliary burner provides a more restrained option.
The two 1.75kW semi-rapid burners and separate 3kW rapid burner cover a useful range of cooking requirements. As a gas model, it is aimed at buyers who value direct, manually adjustable heat rather than automated or touch-controlled operation.
Design, controls and safety
The AISI 304 stainless-steel finish is presented as durable and modern, while the cast-iron pan stands should provide stable support for cookware. Rotary dials offer straightforward physical control and avoid the learning curve associated with more complex interfaces.
The ultra-low-profile design is specified as just 1mm when installed, helping the hob sit discreetly within the worktop. The integrated gas safety device is designed to stop the gas supply if the flame is extinguished, an important protective feature for a gas appliance.
Installation considerations
The stated recessed dimensions are 68 x 48cm, so these should be checked carefully against the intended worktop before purchase. The available product information does not provide further installation, ventilation or gas-connection details, so those requirements should be confirmed with a suitably qualified installer.
The product is described as special order only, with returns limited to faulty or damaged goods. Buyers should therefore verify the exact configuration and installation suitability before placing an order.
Research note: this BestBuysUK assessment is based on the manufacturer's published specifications and other reputable technical sources. Specifications and retailer availability can change, so verify critical details before purchase.
