Compact wine storage for fitted kitchens
The AWS4020B5B5 is designed around a slim undercounter footprint, making it appropriate for a fitted kitchen where a full-height wine cabinet would be excessive. Its stated capacity of up to 20 bottles and 58-litre cabinet offer dedicated storage without taking over a large amount of space.
The single-zone layout is straightforward rather than highly flexible. It is best suited to one collection stored at a common temperature, rather than households wanting separate settings for reds, whites and sparkling wines.
Temperature control and installation flexibility
The cooler is described as supporting serving temperatures from 5–18°C, while another part of the supplied description gives a 5–20°C serving range. For cellaring, both descriptions point to a 12–14°C range. This makes the appliance appear versatile, but the differing serving-temperature claims should be checked before committing to a particular storage plan.
AEG’s stated Cellaring 3 Fundamentals comprise temperature stability, a vibration-free environment and dark storage. LED interior lighting, a black glass finish and a reversible door add practical and aesthetic flexibility, particularly when the cabinet needs to fit a specific integrated-kitchen arrangement.
